HOMETOWN BEAUTY

The sun shines through the green of the trees, straight into my face. I close my eyes and enjoy the warmth that the sun leaves on my face. I sink into the soft and green grass and take a deep breath. I breathe the fresh, pure and clear air while everything is peaceful around me. The temperature is pleasant and there is a mild wind. I listen to the rustling of the leaves and perceive the chirping of birds and the chirping of the crickets. Everything is so calm and harmonious. 

No stress, no hectic and no responsibility that I have to follow. Just me and nature. Now I open my eyes to the bright, blue sky and discover a few beautiful weather clouds in the sky. Butterflies flutter around me and the bees buzz as they collect nectar and fly from flower to flower. The mild wind blows through my hair and brushes my sun-warmed body. I enjoy the greenery around me. No matter where I look, it's green everywhere or all kinds of flowers are in bloom. That's why I love to live here. 

Everything seems so peaceful and no worries are important anymore. Everything seems void and insignificant. Only me and nature count here ...

Apology to Nature

O' Mother Nature, I speak on behalf of the people I didn't know that the consequences would be lethal. O' how sorry I am For constructing that dam. I'm sorry for cutting that tree For having done this for free. I cared for you the least And now you consider me a beast. I'm sorry for all the pollution But now I'm searching for a solution. For I know, I have lost your trust But I also know, gaining it back is a must. I'll try in the future To bring back every little creature. No matter what it takes I'll correct all my mistakes.

It was just a tear  But so strong that I can hardly breathe any air Things in front of my eyes, I've been practicing them since I was a kid But when it's time for the action I have to stay away from it   All the dreams are crumbling for the second time in front of my eyes Now I can only see them from a distance and deep inside my heart cries These things have always been the major part of my entire life  Now the situation seperating me from them is continuously stabbing me with a knife  I wish whenever there will be a complete comeback it'll not be too late  That day I'll reply to those who used to underestimate...                                                     -Shourya Sugla
