Why don't we accept ourselves as we are?

Do you respect yourself?

Do you love yourself the way you are?

Are you proud of yourself every day for what you do every day?

Do you appreciate yourself Can you look in the mirror every day and think, "Wow do you look good today!"?

Are you always true to yourself and do not pretend to please others?

If you answer these questions honestly, you may see how negatively you think of yourself every day. But why is that so? Has it always been like that? I think "NO" it wasn't always like that. That comes with age, with all the pressure from society, you have to conform to an ideal in order to be "liked" and "recognized". To be "seen" and "perceived". Everyone who is different, thinks differently, looks different, is of less value in this society. Which is sad.

After all, aren't people just committed to this and fight for diversity, respect, charity, and acceptance of every human being? Actually, one should think society is so open and would accept everyone for who they are. But the media world, the "higher" society, represents completely different values and norms. They always talk about it, but do the complete opposite.

But why do we expose ourselves to the daily pressure? Why do we bend over to others? Why don't we accept ourselves as we are? Isn't it important that we make ourselves happy, that we accept ourselves for who we are? Start loving yourself as you are. Forgive your mistakes because nobody is perfect. Think about what do you need to be happy? Before you worry about what makes others happy. Do not justify yourself. Because people who are really interested in you, who really care about you, love you as you are.

So stand by yourself, face people with self-confidence and give a shit about their opinion. Because mostly they only tend what you have and are in reality dissatisfied with themselves and their lives. Don't hide because you don't need to.

Always keep in mind “YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!” You are just as important, don't make yourself smaller and more insignificant. Because that's not true. You are worth more than you think Believe me!
